一条名叫麦克的狗躺在马槽中，不停的叫着，不让马儿们吃干草。
一匹叫做贝拉的马对她的同伴说：“这条狗太自私了！他自己不会吃干草，还不让会吃的去吃。”
贝拉和她的朋友们都非常生气。
他们每天都在田野里辛勤工作，需要大量的食物来保持体力。
但是，由于麦克的存在，他们很难得到足够的食物。
于是，贝拉决定去找农场主谈谈这个问题。
她告诉农场主：“主人，那条狗麦克总是躺在马槽里，不让我们吃干草。我们已经饿得没有力气工作了。”
农场主听后非常惊讶，他立刻走到马槽边查看情况。
他看到麦克正躺在那里，得意洋洋的摇着尾巴，完全不管周围饥饿的马儿们。
“麦克，你不能这样做！”
农场主严厉的说，“你是狗，你应该在你的窝里睡觉，而不是躺在马槽里。”
麦克听了农场主的话，感到很羞愧。
他知道自己做错了，于是从马槽里跳出来，回到了自己的窝里。
从此以后，麦克再也没有躺在马槽里，而是在他的窝里安静的睡觉。
马儿们也能顺利的吃到干草，他们的身体也变得更加强壮。
这个故事告诉我们，我们应该尊重别人的需求，不要只顾自己。
只有大家都能得到公平对待，才能和谐共处。
A dog named Mike lay in the manger, barking continuously and preventing the horses from eating hay.
A horse named Bella said to her companions, "This dog is so selfish! He can't eat hay himself, but he also won't let those who can eat it do so."
Bella and her friends were very angry.
They worked hard in the fields every day and needed a lot of food to maintain their strength.
But because of Mike's presence, they had difficulty getting enough food.
So Bella decided to talk to the farmer about this problem.
She told the farmer, "Master, that dog Mike always lies in the manger and doesn't let us eat hay. We are so hungry that we have no strength to work."
The farmer was very surprised when he heard this, and he immediately went to check on the situation at the manger.
He saw Mike lying there, wagging his tail proudly, completely ignoring the hungry horses around him.
"Mike, you can't do this!"
The farmer scolded sternly, "You're a dog, you should sleep in your own bed, not in the manger."
Mike felt ashamed when he heard the farmer's words.
He realized he was wrong, so he jumped out of the manger and returned to his own bed.
From then on, Mike never lay in the manger again, but slept quietly in his own bed instead.
The horses could finally eat hay smoothly, and their bodies became stronger as well.
This story teaches us that we should respect others' needs and not only think of ourselves.
Only when everyone is treated fairly can we live together harmoniously.
