Once upon a time, there was an old hunting dog named Da Li.
When he was young, he was strong and powerful, and was not afraid of any wild beast in the forest.
But as the years passed, Da Li grew older.
One day, his owner took Da Li hunting.
They encountered a fierce wild boar in the forest.
Although Da Li was already old, he bravely leaped at the boar and firmly bit its ear.
However, because his teeth had grown weak with age, he could not hold onto the boar tightly.
In the end, the boar managed to escape.
The owner saw this and felt very disappointed and angry.
He scolded Da Li severely, blaming him for not catching the boar.
Da Li raised his head and said in a hoarse voice,
"Master, this is not my fault. Although I am old, my spirit of bravery is still the same as when I was young.
But I cannot resist the laws of nature. You used to praise me for my brave actions, and now you should not blame me for my old age."
This story teaches us that birth, aging, sickness, and death are inevitable laws of nature.
We cannot blame someone just because they have grown old, fallen ill, or died.
Everyone will go through such a process, which is part of life.
We should respect and accept this fact, while also cherishing every day of our lives.
