By the beautiful seaside, there lived a lovely deer.
This deer was special because he couldn't see with one of his eyes.
Despite this, he lived happily.
One day, the deer came to the seaside to graze.
He watched the land carefully with his good eye, to guard against hunters' attacks.
His blind eye faced the sea, as he believed there would be no danger from that side.
However, just at that moment, a boat passed by on the sea.
The people on the boat saw the deer and shot an arrow, hitting the deer down.
The deer fell onto the sandy beach, feeling extremely painful and confused.
As he was about to die, he murmured to himself, 'How unfortunate I am. I have been guarding against the land side all along, but it was the sea side, which I trusted, that brought disaster upon me.'
This story teaches us that sometimes what we think is dangerous may actually be safe, while what we believe to be safe could bring danger.
So, we should always be vigilant and not let our guard down.
