春秋时代，有一个国家叫做燕国。
有一天，山戎国的坏人来攻打燕国。
燕国的朋友齐桓公知道后，派了管仲和隰朋带着军队去帮助燕国。
他们一起打败了山戎国，并且把山戎国的首都也攻下来了。
山戎国很害怕，就去找孤竹国帮忙。
可是，孤竹国也被齐桓公的军队打败了。
孤竹国王很生气，他就想了一个坏主意。
他让一个大元帅假装投降给齐桓公，然后趁机把齐桓公的军队带到一个叫迷谷的地方。
迷谷里都是沙漠，没有水和植物，而且风很大，非常冷。
齐桓公的军队在迷谷里待了一晚上，很多士兵都受伤了，而且还找不到出去的路。
大家都很着急，但是不知道该怎么办。
这时候，管仲想起了一件事。
他记得老马能记住原来的路，即使离开了很久也能找回来。
齐桓公觉得这个办法很好，于是就选了几匹老马来带路。
果然，老马们带着大家转来转去，最后真的走出了迷谷。
大家都很高兴，也很佩服老马。
从那以后，人们就把这件事叫做“老马识途”。
这个成语的意思是说，年纪大的马能够认路。
后来，人们又把这个成语引申为“识途老马”，用来形容那些有很多经验的人，他们很容易就能做好事情。

At that time, Guan Zhong remembered something.
He remembered that old horses could remember the original road, even if they had been away for a long time.
Qi Huangong thought this was a good idea, so he chose a few old horses to lead the way.
Sure enough, the old horses led everyone around and finally got out of Mi Valley.
Everyone was very happy and admired the old horses.
From then on, people called this incident 'Old Horse Knows the Way'.
This idiom means that old horses can recognize roads.
Later, people extended this idiom to 'Experienced Old Horse', which describes those who have a lot of experience and can easily do things well.
