公鸡想了想，又接着说：“我宁愿得到一颗麦子，也不想要世界上所有的宝玉。因为对于我来说，麦子才是我真正需要的东西。”
这个故事告诉我们，每个人都有自己需要的东西，对自己有用的东西才是最珍贵的。
我们不能盲目追求别人认为好的东西，而应该看清自己的需求，珍惜自己所拥有的。
