Once upon a time, there was a group of frogs who didn't have a king. They felt very unhappy.
So they sent representatives to see the great Zeus and asked him to give them a king.
Zeus saw that these frogs were so simple-minded that he threw a piece of wood into the pond.
At first, when the frogs heard the sound of the wood falling, they dived into the water in fright.
But when the wood floated on the surface of the water without moving, they swam back up and found that this piece of wood was actually not scary at all.
So they climbed onto the block of wood and sat on it, forgetting their initial fear.
However, the frogs thought that this wooden king was too boring, so they went to Zeus again and asked him to give them a smarter king.
Zeus was very angry and sent a water snake to be their new king.
As a result, all the frogs were caught and eaten by this cunning water snake.
This story tells us that if we only believe in rulers and don't trust our own strength, we will be controlled by others and even bring disaster.
We should believe in ourselves and face difficulties bravely to truly become strong.
