Once upon a time, there was a blacksmith named Mike.
He had a dog at home, called Ruby.
Whenever Mike was forging iron, Ruby would sleep quietly beside him.
However, when Mike started eating, Ruby would run to his side immediately, wagging her tail as if saying, "Master, I'm hungry too."
One day, Mike looked at Ruby who was eating and thought to himself, "This little fellow is strange. Why can it sleep so soundly when I'm hammering iron, but wakes up instantly as soon as I move my chopsticks?"
So, Mike threw a bone to Ruby and said to her, "You little sleepyhead, why didn't the loud noise of forging wake you up, but our eating sounds make you so sensitive?"
This story teaches us a lesson: Some people only care about what benefits they can get.
For them, only profitable things will catch their attention, while they will ignore those things that are not beneficial to them.
It's just like Ruby, who only wakes up when there's food to eat, and no matter how loud the forging sound is, it won't wake her up.
