英文故事

Once upon a time, there was a big lion. He was very strong.
One day, he was sleeping in the forest when suddenly a little mouse jumped onto his body.
The lion woke up startled and caught the little mouse, ready to eat it.
The little mouse was terrified but mustered up the courage to say to the lion, "Please don't eat me. I will repay you."
The lion looked at the tiny mouse and couldn't help but laugh, thinking, "What could such a small mouse do for me?"
So, the lion let the little mouse go.
After some time, the lion accidentally got caught by hunters in the forest.
They tied the lion to a tree with ropes, and no matter how hard the lion tried, he couldn't break free.
Just then, the little mouse heard the lion's roar and came over to see what was happening. It turned out to be the lion that had once spared its life.
Without hesitation, the little mouse started gnawing on the ropes.
After much effort, the lion was finally freed.
The little mouse said to the lion,
"See, even though I am small, I can still help you. You laughed at me and didn't believe I could repay you. Now you know that everyone has their own value."
The lion was deeply moved and said to the little mouse, "Thank you. I now understand that anyone can be a hero to someone else."
From that day on, the lion and the little mouse became good friends and lived happily together in the forest.
This story teaches us not to look down on anyone because everyone has their own strengths and abilities.
Sometimes, the weak can also help the strong.
