从前，山鹰和狐狸成为了好朋友。
为了他们的友谊更牢固，他们决定住在一起。
于是，山鹰飞到一棵高高的树上筑巢，准备孵育后代；而狐狸则走进了树下的灌木丛中，生儿育女。
有一天，狐狸出去寻找食物，而山鹰的食物也恰好用完了。
山鹰便飞到了灌木丛中，把小狐狸抢走，和他的雏鹰一起饱餐了一顿。
当狐狸回来时，他知道是山鹰干的坏事。
他为失去儿女感到非常伤心，但他无法报复山鹰，因为他是陆地上的动物，不能飞翔去追捕会飞的鸟。
因此，他只能远远的站着诅咒山鹰，这是弱小者唯一能做的事情。
不久之后，山鹰的背信弃义的行为得到了惩罚。
有一次，一些人在野外杀羊祭祀神灵，山鹰飞下去，从祭坛上抓起了一块带着火的羊肉，带回了自己的巢里。
这时，一阵大风吹来，巢中的细小枯枝立刻燃起了熊熊大火。
那些还没有长出羽毛的小山鹰都被烧死了，并从树上掉了下来。
狐狸看到后，立刻跑过去，在山鹰面前，把那些小山鹰都吃掉了。
这个故事告诉我们，对于那些背信弃义的人，即使受害者很弱小，无法报复他们，但神会惩罚他们。
Once upon a time, Eagle and Fox became good friends.
To strengthen their friendship, they decided to live together.
So, Eagle flew to a tall tree to build a nest and prepare for incubation; while Fox went into the bushes below the tree to raise her young.
One day, Fox went out to look for food, and Eagle's food also happened to run out.
Eagle flew down to the bushes and snatched away the little foxes, feasting on them along with his eaglets.
When Fox returned, she knew that Eagle had done something bad.
She was very sad for losing her children, but she could not retaliate against Eagle because she was a land animal and could not fly to catch a bird.
Therefore, she could only stand far away and curse Eagle, which was the only thing a weak person could do.
Soon after, Eagle's treacherous behavior was punished.
On one occasion, some people were slaughtering sheep in the wilderness as a sacrifice to the gods. Eagle flew down and grabbed a piece of burning mutton from the altar, taking it back to its nest.
At this moment, a strong wind blew, and the small dry twigs in the nest immediately burst into flames.
The little eagles who had not yet grown feathers were all burned alive and fell from the tree.
Fox saw this and immediately ran over, eating all the little eagles in front of Eagle.
This story tells us that even if the victims are weak and unable to retaliate against those who break their promises, the gods will punish them.
