这时，一只名叫艾伦的鸢飞了过来，看到了杰克的惨状。
他摇了摇头，对杰克说：“哎呀，你这是自作自受啊！你明明是一只海鸥，应该在空中飞翔，为什么要去海里捕食呢？”
杰克听后，感到非常羞愧。
他知道自己犯了一个严重的错误，不应该贪心的吃下那么大的鱼。
从那天起，杰克就再也没有冒险去海里捕食了。
他每天都在天空中自由自在的飞翔，享受着自己的生活。
