Long, long ago, a man named Alex walked into a deep forest.
He asked the trees in the forest for a piece of wood to make an axe handle.
A kind big tree agreed to his request and gave him a small branch.
Alex made a sturdy axe handle with the small branch and fitted it perfectly onto the axe.
Then, he picked up the axe and started chopping down trees in the forest.
His movements became faster and faster, and soon he felled the most valuable tree in the forest.
Seeing this, an old oak tree felt very sad.
He watched as his companion was chopped down, but was powerless to do anything.
He said to the cedar tree beside him, "We have doomed ourselves. If we had not given him that small branch, he would not have been able to chop us down, perhaps we could have stood here forever."
This story tells us that we cannot help those who pose a threat to us, no matter how small the help may be.
Because sometimes, a small help can bring about great harm.
So, in life, we must learn to distinguish right from wrong and not easily help those who may pose a threat to us.
