Once upon a time, there was a groom named Li Ming.
He had a secret - he secretly sold the oats meant for his horse and used the money to fulfill his own needs.
Despite this, Li Ming would still bathe his horse every day and comb its mane, making it look very beautiful.
The horse felt strange. Why could it maintain such good condition even though it ate so little every day?
One day, the horse said to Li Ming, 'Li Ming, if you really want me to grow strong and beautiful, please stop selling my oats.'
Li Ming felt guilty when he heard this, but he still chose to continue selling the oats.
However, as time passed, the horse grew weaker due to lack of nutrition and eventually fell sick.
This story teaches us a lesson: Those who are insincere may use sweet words and small favors to please you.
But in reality, they may be taking away what you need the most.
Therefore, we should learn to distinguish between truth and falsehood and protect our own interests.
