Once upon a time, there was a big ox who went to the river to drink water.
On the grass, he accidentally stepped on a group of little frogs.
One poor little frog was crushed to death by the ox's hoof.
When the mother frog returned home, she found that one of her sons was missing.
She asked the other little frogs, "Where did my little baby go?"
A little frog replied, "Dear mother, our brother was trampled to death by a big wild beast. The beast has four legs and its hooves are very heavy."
After hearing this news, the mother frog became very angry.
She puffed out her cheeks and her belly swelled with anger.
She asked the little frog, "Was that beast very big? Did it puff out its cheeks like me?"
The little frog looked at his mother and said worriedly, "Mother, you mustn't puff out your cheeks anymore. You can't become as big as that monster. If you keep puffing out your cheeks, your belly will explode."
This story teaches us: small things cannot be compared with great things.
We should learn to respect every life, no matter how big or small it is.
