从前，有个森林里住着一只大狮子。
有一天，他忽然觉得自己的嘴巴很臭，就叫来了一只羊，问他：“你能闻到我嘴里发出的臭味吗？”
羊诚实地说：“能闻到。”
于是，狮子生气地咬掉了他的头。
接着，狮子又叫来了狼，问他同样的问题。
狼害怕狮子会生气，就说：“闻不到。”
可是，狮子还是不高兴，把狼咬得鲜血淋漓。
最后，狐狸被召来了。
他也被问了同样的问题。
但是，狐狸很聪明，他知道狮子正在发脾气，所以他想了想说：“大王，我感冒了，闻不到什么味道。”
这个故事告诉我们一个道理：有时候，模棱两可、暧昧含糊的回答可以让我们避免一些麻烦。

However, the fox was very clever. He knew that the lion was in a bad mood, so he thought for a moment and said, "Your Majesty, I have a cold and can't smell anything."
This story teaches us a lesson: Sometimes, ambiguous and vague answers can help us avoid some trouble.
