In a dense forest, there lived a hunting dog named Rex and a hare called Bruce.
One day, Rex caught Bruce. He would gently bite him one moment and then tenderly lick his ears the next, as if he were playing with Bruce.
Bruce felt very scared, but he still mustered up the courage to say to Rex, "Hey, Rex, can you please stop doing this to me? I can't tell whether you want to be friends with me or hurt me."
Rex listened and thought that Bruce made sense. So he decided to stop teasing Bruce and let him go free instead.
