On a tall mountain, there was a strong and proud eagle.
He often stood on the rocks, overlooking the forests and grasslands below, looking for his prey.
One day, the eagle saw a rabbit running fast in the grass.
He immediately spread his wings and prepared to swoop down to catch the rabbit.
However, just as he was about to succeed, suddenly an arrow flew from afar and struck his body.
The arrow with eagle feathers deeply embedded into the eagle's body, but the feather remained in front of the eagle's eyes.
The eagle looked at the feather in front of him, feeling very shocked and heartbroken.
It was his own feather!
He thought painfully, "My own feather has killed me. This pain is even harder to bear than being hurt by other animals."
This story tells us that sometimes we may be hurt because of our own mistakes or negligence, and that kind of pain is even harder to endure than being hurt by others.
Therefore, we should always be vigilant and avoid being harmed because of ourselves.
