In the forest, an eagle was diligently chasing a rabbit.
The poor rabbit had nowhere to escape and could only run for its life.
It was at this moment that it saw a scarab beetle and begged it for help.
The scarab beetle comforted the rabbit while pleading with the eagle not to harm the poor little animal.
However, the eagle did not take the tiny scarab beetle seriously and still grabbed the rabbit right in front of it.
Seeing all this, the scarab beetle felt extremely sad and humiliated.
From then on, it began to closely monitor the eagle's nest.
As soon as the eagle laid eggs, the scarab beetle would fly up and roll the eggs down, shattering them.
In order to protect its children, the eagle had to hide everywhere.
Finally, it even flew to Zeus, asking him for a safe place to raise its young eagles.
Zeus agreed to let the eagle hatch its eggs on his knee.
But the clever scarab beetle knew about this and decided to take revenge.
It rolled a big ball of dung, flew to Zeus' head, and threw it down.
Zeus immediately stood up, trying to shake off the dung ball, but accidentally smashed all of the eagle's eggs.
It is said that from then on, whenever the scarab beetle appeared, the eagle would not hatch its eggs.
This story tells us not to look down on anyone because no one is so weak that they cannot retaliate when insulted.
