从前，有一个狗和一只公鸡成为了好朋友。
他们一起旅行，晚上到了一个地方，公鸡跳到树上睡觉，狗在树洞里休息。
当早晨来临，公鸡像平常一样开始啼叫。
狐狸听到了公鸡的叫声，他想吃鸡肉，于是跑到树下，对公鸡说：
“你的声音真好听！我想拥抱你，快下来，我们一起唱首歌吧。”
公鸡回答：“请你先去叫醒树洞里的守门人，他开了门，我就可以下来了。”
狐狸马上去叫门，但是狗突然从树洞里跳出来，把狐狸咬死了。
这个故事告诉我们，聪明的人在危险面前不会慌张，他们会巧妙地打败敌人。
Once upon a time, a dog and a rooster became good friends.
They traveled together and arrived at a place in the evening. The rooster climbed up to a tree to sleep while the dog rested in a hollow of the tree.
When morning came, the rooster started to crow as usual.
A fox heard the rooster's call and wanted to eat him. He ran to the tree and said to the rooster,
"Your voice is so beautiful! I want to hug you. Come down quickly, and let's sing a song together."
The rooster replied, "Please go wake up the gatekeeper in the hollow first. When he opens the door, I can come down."
The fox immediately went to call the gatekeeper, but the dog suddenly jumped out from the hollow and bit the fox to death.
This story teaches us that smart people do not panic in front of danger. They will skillfully defeat their enemies.
