Once upon a time, there was a clever fox named Phil.
One day, in order to avoid being chased by hunters, it fled in a panic.
As he ran, he met a woodcutter named Tom.
The fox asked Tom to let it hide, and Tom kindly let the fox hide in his small house.
Soon after, many hunters came chasing after them. They asked Tom where the fox was hiding.
Although Tom loudly said he didn't know, his gestures secretly told the hunters where the fox was hiding.
The hunters believed Tom's words and left without noticing his gestures.
After the hunters were far away, the fox Phil came out of the small house and left without a word.
Tom saw this scene and felt very angry. He said to the fox, 'I saved your life, but you didn't even say thank you.'
The fox replied, 'If your gestures matched your words, I would have thanked you properly.'
After saying that, the fox left.
This story tells us that some people say they want to do good things, but their actions are actually bad.
We should be a person who is consistent in words and deeds, do what we say, and do things that are worthy of our conscience.
