Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Andy living in a small village.
He was smart and quick-witted, beloved by the people in the village.
There was a fruit tree grove outside the village that bore fruits in abundance every autumn. Among them, the most precious was a fruit called the 'Golden Apple'. It tasted incredibly sweet and was said to bring good luck to those who ate it.
One day, a cunning fox arrived near the village. Upon hearing about the Golden Apple, it devised a wicked plan.
The fox decided to sneak into the fruit tree grove under the cover of night and steal all the Golden Apples.
However, Andy saw everything that the fox was up to.
Knowing the fox's plan, Andy decided to come up with a way to stop it.
So, Andy started making fake Golden Apples that looked exactly the same as the real ones, except they were inedible.
When night fell, the fox arrived as planned, and upon seeing the tree full of Golden Apples, it was delighted.
The fox eagerly climbed the tree and started devouring the apples.
However, it didn't take long for the fox to realize its stomach was in excruciating pain. It had mistakenly eaten the fake Golden Apples made by Andy.
Seeing the fox in pain, Andy stepped out and said, "You are too greedy. If you only took what you needed, you could have avoided this pain, couldn't you?"
Feeling ashamed, the fox hung its head low.
From that day on, the fox never returned to the village, and the Golden Apples continued to grow in the fruit tree grove year after year, bringing happiness to the villagers.
However, Andy did not stop his journey of wisdom there.
He started researching ways to protect the Golden Apples from being destroyed by other animals. He invented a special protective net that allowed sunlight to shine on the apples while keeping animals out.
He also invented a device to drive away birds, so they wouldn't come pecking at the Golden Apples.
Every autumn, as the Golden Apples hung from the branches, the villagers thanked Andy for his wisdom and hard work.
They knew that without Andy, they might not have been able to enjoy these delicious Golden Apples.
This story teaches us that greed only leads to loss. We should cherish what we already have and be content.
At the same time, we should, like Andy, use our wisdom to protect our homes and ensure that beautiful things last forever.
