从前，有一只驴子叫阿宝，他经常帮主人运盐过河。
有一天，阿宝不小心滑倒了，掉进了河里。
河水把盐都溶化了，阿宝站起来时觉得身体轻了很多，他感到很高兴。
后来，又有一次，阿宝要运海绵过河。
他想起了上次的事情，心想如果再故意摔下去，等站起来的时候就会更轻松了。
于是，他就故意地摔了下去。
但是，他没想到的是，海绵是吸水的，这次他再也站不起来了，最后淹死在了河里。
这个故事告诉我们，有时候太过聪明反而会害了自己。
我们应该脚踏实地，不要总是想着走捷径。
Once upon a time, there was a donkey named Abel who often helped his owner carry salt across the river.
One day, Abel slipped and fell into the river.
The water dissolved all the salt, and when Abel stood up, he felt much lighter. He was very happy.
Later, Abel had to carry sponges across the river again.
He remembered what happened last time and thought that if he fell on purpose, it would be even easier to stand up.
So, he deliberately fell down.
But what he didn't expect was that sponges absorb water. This time, he couldn't get up anymore and eventually drowned in the river.
This story tells us that sometimes being too clever can harm ourselves.
We should be down-to-earth and not always think of taking shortcuts.
