从前，有个放羊娃叫小杰，他每天都赶着他的羊群到村外很远的地方去放牧。
小杰很喜欢开玩笑，时常大声向村里人呼救，谎称有狼来袭击他的羊群。
开始时，村里人都信以为真，惊慌得立刻跑来帮忙。
但每次来到后，发现小杰只是在开玩笑，他们就会感到没趣地走了回去。
这样的事情发生了两三回，村民们渐渐对小杰的谎言失去了信任。
有一天，狼真的来了，窜入羊群，大肆咬杀。
小杰看到这个情况，吓得赶紧对着村里拼命呼喊救命。
可是，村里的人们听到他的呼救声，却认为他又在像往常一样说谎，开玩笑，没有人再理他。
结果，因为没有人来帮忙，小杰的羊群全被狼吃掉了。
小杰非常后悔自己之前的行为，他知道是因为自己的谎言导致了这样的后果。
从那以后，小杰再也没有说过谎话，他诚实地对待每一个人，也赢得了大家的信任和尊重。
这个故事告诉我们，常常说谎话的人，即使再说真话也无人相信。
所以，我们要做一个诚实守信的人，不要轻易说谎，因为谎言最终只会伤害到我们自己。
Once upon a time, there was a shepherd boy named Jack who took his flock of sheep to graze far outside the village every day.
Jack loved to play pranks and would often shout for help to the villagers, pretending that wolves were attacking his sheep.
At first, the villagers believed him and rushed to help in a panic.

One day, a wolf really did come and attacked the sheep, killing many of them.
When Jack saw this, he shouted for help frantically towards the village.
However, when the villagers heard his cries for help, they thought he was lying and playing another prank as usual, so no one paid any attention to him.
As a result, all of Jack's sheep were eaten by the wolf because no one came to help.
Jack deeply regretted his previous behavior and knew that it was his lies that had led to such consequences.
From then on, Jack never told a lie again. He treated everyone honestly and earned their trust and respect.
This story teaches us that people who often tell lies will not be believed even when they tell the truth.
So, we should be honest and trustworthy, and not tell lies easily, because lies will only harm ourselves in the end.
